SAP sync and write-back.
Understand cached entities, freshness, failures, and the single audited write-back path.
Sync
The connector caches approved work orders, BOM components, routing operations, quality notifications, and production actuals by organization. The UI shows freshness and failures.
- Test connectivity.
- Start sync.
- Review per-entity counts and errors.
- Confirm timestamps before analysis.
Write-back
The only supported write is filing a quality notification, and only a signed-in member of the organization can start one. It is sent to SAP on submission rather than held for a separate approval step, with idempotency, retry, dead-letter, and audit records. There is no per-organization switch that disables it and no second-person sign-off.
Current limitations
- A cached snapshot may lag SAP.
- Automatic CAPA or production write-back is not available.
